Rain, Rain Go Away!  Unfortunately the skies are bringing rain tonight (7/11) - so we are moving tonight's showing of Ghostbusters - indoors!

Join us at Hargarves Community Center at 216 N. Roberson Street at 8PM for kids games & activities; the movie starts shortly after that. You can still bring a picnic dinner and we'll still have FREE popcorn.

For all the LOCALLY GROWN events - we have a weather hotline you can call ahead to see if rain is affecting the event - 919-932-0408.

Ghostbusters young and old come to the Wallace Deck Park and learn how to make slime with the help of the Ackland Museum. Slime early and often, then settle in with free popcorn. This is fun for the whole family. Just don’t get slimed.

The movies start at sundown (approx. 9PM) so bring a chair or blanket, enjoy specials from a participating Dinner & a Movie restaurant, and have a picnic dinner under the stars. Discount parking tokens for movie goers provided by Town of Chapel Hill's Parking Services.

This year movie nights start with film shorts created by local award-winning filmmaker Nic Beery; of Beery Media and founder of the Carrboro Film Festival.
